Tell those rich in this world’s wealth to quit being so full of themselves and so obsessed with money, which is here today and gone tomorrow. Tell them to go after God, who piles on all the riches we could ever manage—to do good, to be rich in helping others, to be extravagantly generous. If they do that, they’ll build a treasury that will last, gaining life that is truly life.
1 Timothy 6:17-19 MSG
A life well lived recognizes that everything we have is a gift from God. He allows us to enjoy our blessings, but He also calls us to use them to make the world a better place—to help His kingdom break through in the middle of life’s messiness. We are called to live with the deep understanding that we are part of God’s “redistribution plan”—blessed so that we can be a blessing to others, especially those who are hurting or struggling.
At Hope Church, we want to be a generation that truly lives this out:
God’s feet: bringing the life-changing message of Jesus to those who feel lost.
God’s voice: speaking words of hope and truth to the broken and discouraged.
God’s ears: listening to the cries for help around us.
God’s eyes: seeing the pain, suffering, and needs of others, and recognizing God’s image in every person we meet.
God’s touch: reaching out to embrace and comfort those who are hurting.
To make this vision a reality, we need everyone to get involved! If you’re ready to make a difference, we invite you to step up, sign up, volunteer, and serve alongside us at Hope Church. Together, we can be God’s hands and feet in our community and beyond.
