"What comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us."
We believe in God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. We believe that Jesus Christ is God’s Son and the only way to salvation—the Savior for all who put their trust in Him. As we follow Jesus, He transforms every area of our lives, filling us with peace, joy, and love, and giving us strength through His power to serve Him faithfully.
Our greatest comfort, in life and in death, is that we are not our own, but belong—body and soul, in life and in death—to our faithful Savior, Jesus Christ. He has fully paid for all our sins with His precious blood and has set us free from the power of the devil. He watches over us so carefully that not a hair can fall from our heads without our Father’s will. In fact, all things work together for our salvation. Because we belong to Him, Christ, by His Holy Spirit, assures us of eternal life and makes us wholeheartedly willing and ready to live for Him.
We are passionate about seeing lives transformed as people grow closer to Jesus.
Jesus teaches us that loving our neighbor is second only to loving God. This shapes everything we do as a church.
“‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’” Matthew 22:37-39
As followers of Jesus, we strive to live as He would live today. Our commitment to deepening our relationship with Christ inspires us to serve others in the communities where we live, work, and worship. We also believe it’s important to reach out beyond our local area, sharing Christ’s love with people around the world. Serving others—both near and far—is at the heart of what it means to be His disciples.

God
We believe in one God who exists eternally in three distinct persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. He is the creator of all things, both visible and invisible, and is worthy of all glory and praise.
God is perfect in love, power, holiness, goodness, knowledge, wisdom, justice, and mercy. He never changes—He is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus is the Son of God, equal with the Father and the Holy Spirit. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, and lived a sinless life. Jesus offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all people by dying on the cross.
On the third day, He rose from the dead, demonstrating His power over sin and death. Jesus then ascended to Heaven, where He sits at the right hand of the Father and intercedes for all who trust in Him.

Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit is a Divine Person, equal with the Father and the Son. He is present in the world, convicting people of sin and making us aware of our need for Jesus Christ. From the moment of salvation, the Holy Spirit lives within every believer.
He provides sanctification—giving us power to live for God, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance to do what is right. As Christians, we seek to live each day under His direction and control.

Mankind
We believe that people are made in the image of God and created to reflect His character. Humanity is the supreme object of God’s creation. However, when the first man, Adam, disobeyed God in the Garden of Eden, he passed down a sinful nature to all people. As a result, everyone is a sinner by both nature and choice, spiritually separated from God and in need of salvation.
Salvation
We believe that Jesus Christ came to reconcile us with God. He lived a sinless life and willingly died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins. God raised Him from the dead, and now, by grace, offers eternal life as a free gift to all who trust in Christ by faith as their Lord and Savior. This is why salvation is found in Christ alone.
Eternal security
We believe that God gives us eternal life through Jesus Christ, and every believer is justified and secure in their salvation forever. Once you have been saved, you cannot lose your salvation. This security is not based on our own efforts, but on the grace and power of God. It is God’s grace that keeps us safe and secure, even in our brokenness.
Resurrection
We believe that Jesus Christ will one day return to judge both the living and the dead and to usher in the fullness of God's kingdom on earth. The Bible teaches that His return will be personal, visible, and glorious—a global event that everyone will witness. At that time, Jesus will fulfill the remaining prophecies as the conquering King, bringing justice and establishing His everlasting kingdom. This hope assures believers that God is faithful to His promises and that all things will be made right when Christ returns.
Revelation
God has revealed Himself to us in three primary ways: through His Son, Jesus Christ, who is the visible image of the invisible God; through the holy Scriptures, which communicate His will and character; and through all of creation itself, which displays His power and divine nature. Jesus perfectly reveals God’s nature by living among us, showing us God’s love and truth. The Bible provides us with God’s inspired Word, guiding and teaching us. And the world around us—nature, the universe, and everything in it—declares God’s eternal power and glory, making His presence known to all people.
Personal Spiritual Maturity
We affirm that every relationship, person, and leader is called to live as a Spirit-filled Christian, continually growing in spiritual maturity and becoming more like Christ each day.
We also affirm that our primary family of faith is not our family of origin, but the body of Christ. As Scripture says, “We are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God’s people and also members of his household, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone. In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord.” Ephesians 2:19-21
Together, we are united as God’s people, growing in faith and love as members of His household.

The Church
We affirm that the church is a sent people, founded and inspired by the Holy Spirit. The church stands at the heart of God’s mission for the world. As a sent community, we are called to multiply—just as the earliest believers sent out planters to establish new communities of faith where lives were transformed by the gospel of Jesus Christ.
We believe that multiplying and planting new communities of Christian faith is the core mission of every church. Because of this, we are committed to prioritizing our resources and efforts to continue planting new faith communities in our generation, so that more people may experience the transforming power of Jesus.

Marriage and Human Sexuality
We affirm God’s design for sexuality and marriage as outlined in the Bible. We believe that marriage is intended to be heterosexual, monogamous, exclusive, and life-long. We also affirm the Great Lakes Catechism on Marriage and Sexuality as a confessional appendix to the Heidelberg Catechism.
